Good to be home in Dallas
Jan 30, 2009

Well it's good to be home in Dallas. (heh heh heh)

I am here signing books at four Mardel Bookstores in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. If your are here and get a pic, they are on the web for your viewing. Today I'll be at Mardel Ft. Worth, on Hulen St, at 6:00 PM. Tomorrow, I'll be at Mardel in Plano, on Coit st. at high noon, then at 5:00 PM I'll be at Frisco, on Preston Rd. Come on out and have some fun!

What a blast it is to be here in the new hometown of George W. Bush, walking around in his likeness. I had the honor or giving four radio interviews yesterday, at Salem Radio Headquarters here in Dallas. As I was looking out through the glass wall during one of the interviews, a group of Cub Scouts and their parents had gathered at the window to "see the president." They were wide-eyed and excited. We enjoyed each other as I walked over to the window and played games with them...peek-a-boo, pretend escalator, and finger duckie.

I went out and posed for photos and then I let them in on the secret. Later, after the booksigning, I and my two faux "Secret Service" volunteers messed around with folks at Best Buy, and then enjoyed some delicious pancakes at IHOP while swapping Bible stories and posing for photos.

I love the opportunity to share with folks, and love to listen to their stories of George W. , and their stories of faith. I love biblical fellowship, and the connection I experience with folks who have the same Father as me...and I don't mean George Herbert Walker...if ya get my meaning.
