How appropriate that "43," George W. should go to the 43rd Super Bowl. Well, I had the chance to go in as President Bush, giving the crowd a wonderful chance to "interact" with the former POTUS (That's spy talk for President of the United States.)
I came as guest of Cooper Tire and Picture Marketing. A concept that gives companies the opportunity to capture an extremely effective marketing opportunity. The folks from Cooper Tire prepared a photo opportunity for those at the Super Bowl to get a picture with The President, while learning more about their fabulous company.
The Picture Marketing folks told me that their event with me as President Bush blew past their previous record for pictures taken, making this a huge win for the spectators and for the sponsor! Folks were given a lanyard with a web address where they can go online to view/download their photos with "Dubya" at the Super Bowl!
While on location, I and my "Secret Service" friends also spent time at the Tampa Bay ABC Affiliate, WFTS. We participated in a live on-air interview and sat at their their roof-top venue, across the street from the stadium. It was truly an event to remember. Not to mention a truly great Football Game! Congratulations to the six time Super Bowl Champion Pittsburgh Steelers!
