Tonight I had the fun of visiting Avon Park Florida, and performed with the renouned Gospel Quartet, Gold City. Aaron, Bruce, Steve, Daniel and Josh on keys.
Boy, I love Southern Gospel music. It stirs the soul like no music I know. their show was warm, exciting, encouraging and of course, Gospel centered. During the first set, after a rousing song honoring our nations veterens, especially those in the room, they introduced President George W. Bush to an astonished crowd.
I joked enough to make it obvious I wasn't the real President, but many were still wondering as they poured into the lobby to get Pics with The President during intermission and afterward.
Thank you fans of Gold City for the warm welcome, and thatnks to the band for the honor of accompanying you. Kathy and I had a great time.
Lately I have been under a spiritual attack, and tonight the music and the message gave me the strength to fight back, take back my personal ground, and win the day.
