Mar 24, 2008
Nashville, TN - Comedian and impersonator John Morgan, ABC Television's "The Next Best Thing" finalist and "The Definitive President George W. Bush," recently made a splash with Christian and mainstream media outlets at the 2008 NRB Convention, held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort Hotel and Convention Center in Nashville, Tenn. Morgan kicked off his time in Nashville with a special live appearance at CBS affiliate WTVF-TV's show "Talk of the Town," sharing stories and testimony with hosts Meryll Rose and Lelan Statom. His other NRB Convention interview highlights include TV tapings with CBN's "700 Club," GCN The People Channel and TBN/JCTV's "Real Videos," as well as radio interviews with outlets including Radio Envoy, Assist News, Solid Gospel Network and more.

Ever since the Republican Party of Florida discovered Morgan working as a Bush campaign volunteer in 2004 and brought him in to entertain at such high profile events as President Bush's 2005 Inauguration in Washington, D.C., and Governor Jeb Bush's birthday party in Florida, even those closest to the President have been astounded at Morgan's amazing impersonation. Vice President Dick Cheney summed it up best when he told Morgan, "You're a dead ringer!"

Dubbed "the smarter, better, funnier version of George Bush," when he appeared on ABC's Television's "The Next Best Thing," the award-winning comedian/impersonator's list of appearances also includes such highlights as ABC's "Good Morning America" and "The View," NBC's "Today Show," CNN's "Headline News," Fox News "Dayside," syndicated game show "Family Feud" and Fox Television personality Sean Hannity's 2007 "Freedom Concert" series. Morgan also imitates President George W. Bush at corporate events around the world for companies such as BellSouth, IBM, Bank of America, World Vision, City of Hope and Zap Cars.

Along the way, Morgan has shared the stage with notable politicians and political pundits including U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft, Sean Hannity, Col. Oliver North, Neal Boortz and James Carville, as well as entertainers including Academy Award-winning actor Jon Voight ("National Treasure"), CNN personality Brian Christie and musical superstars Lee Greenwood, Montgomery Gentry, LeAnn Rimes, Charlie Daniels, Michael W. Smith and Kirk Franklin.
