John Morgan Takes on Family Feud
Feb 13, 2008
Orlando, FL-Comedian and impersonator John Morgan, ABC Television's "The Next Best Thing" finalist and "The Definitive President George W. Bush," will join a select group of celebrity impersonators the week of February 18, 2008, for a special celebrity impersonator edition of the syndicated popular game show "Family Feud," hosted by John O'Hurley. Set up as a guys vs. girls competition, Morgan (as Bush) will join Bono, Elvis, Howard Stern and Johnny Depp impersonators as they compete against Whoopi Goldberg, Angelina Jolie, Dolly Parton, Marilyn Monroe and Paris Hilton impersonators.

"The lighthearted tension of the contest was fun," Morgan says of his experience on "Family Feud." "It was great performing in character, trying to think, "How would George W. Bush play this game?"

Ever since the Republican Party of Florida discovered Morgan working as a Bush campaign volunteer in 2004 and brought him in to entertain at such high profile events as President Bush's 2005 Inauguration in Washington, D.C., and Governor Jeb Bush's birthday party in Florida, even those closest to the President have been astounded at Morgan's amazing impersonation. Vice President Dick Cheney summed it up best when he told Morgan, "You're a dead ringer!"

Dubbed "the smarter, better, funnier version of George Bush," when he appeared on ABC's Television's "The Next Best Thing," the award-winning comedian/impersonator's list of appearances also includes such highlights as ABC's "Good Morning America" and "The View," NBC's "Today Show," CNN's "Headline News," Fox News "Dayside," and Fox Television personality Sean Hannity's 2007 "Freedom Concert" series. Morgan also imitates President George W. Bush at corporate events around the world for companies such as Bell South,
IBM, Bank of America, World Vision, City of Hope and Zap Cars.

Along the way, Morgan has shared the stage with notable politicians and political pundits including U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft, Sean Hannity, Col. Oliver North, Neal Boortz and James Carville, as well as entertainers including Academy Award-winning actor Jon Voight ("National Treasure"), CNN personality Brian Christie and musical superstars Lee Greenwood, Montgomery Gentry, LeAnn Rimes, Charlie Daniels, Michael W. Smith and Kirk Franklin.

The syndicated "Family Feud" is a high-stakes game show where contestants must guess the most popular answers to survey questions posed to 100 people in order to win big money. Hosted by entertainer John O'Hurley, best known for his role as "J. Peterman" on TV's "Seinfeld," the show is produced by Fremantle Media North America and is distributed by Debmar Mercury.
